Leesville Road Cross Country and Track & Field Uniform Guide
Outdoor Track & Field. We require:
(1) Uniform jersey top.
(2) Navy blue bottoms/shorts.
(3) Green T-shirt (for Team appearance).

Uniform Tops (simple version):
…… Individual Events, “LEESVILLE” printed preferred.
…… Additional Leesville identifiers permitted: Pride, L-logo, etc.
…… Each Relay Event: ALL Relay Legs have matching Tops.
…… Under Armour jersey design is the official “team jersey”.
…… Alternate jersey for 2024 will also be offered (once available for order).
…… Alternate will become the Varsity jersey for next year.
Uniform Bottoms (simple version):
…… Solid Navy Blue, with 1 manufacturer logo allowed, 2-1/4″ or smaller.
…… Waistbands with larger logos allowed (such as “Nike Pro”).
…… Compression Allowed (Half Tights, Court Shorts).
…… Split Shorts Allowed (Half Tights, Court Shorts).
Team T-Shirts (Kelly Green):
…… To enhance “Team presence”, we want each athlete to have a green Leesville T-shirt.
…… We encourage parents/family to consider wearing green apparel (or Leesville T-shirt).
…… We want athletes in Leesville gear for any meet award presentations or photo opportunities.

In Depth Uniform Rules, per NFHS Rule 4-3
…… Top may have school name, school logo, school nickname.
…… A single manufacturer’s logo/trademark/reference, no more than 2¼ square inches with no dimension more than 2¼ inches, is permitted on the top.
…… The top must hang below or be tucked into the waistband of the bottom when the competitor is standing upright.
…… Bare midriff tops are not permitted.
…… Bottom may have school name, school logo, school nickname.
…… A single manufacturer’s logo/trademark/reference, no more than 2¼ square inches with no dimension more than 2¼ inches, is permitted on the bottom.
…… Bottoms may have manufacturer’s logo/trademark/references larger than 2¼ square inches around the waistband.
…… The waistband of a competitor’s bottom shall be worn above the hips.
…… Removing any part of the team uniform, excluding shoes, while in the area of competition, as defined by the games committee, is illegal.
…… Any visible garment(s) worn underneath the uniform top and/or bottom is considered a foundation garment. Foundation garments are not subject to logo/trademark/reference or color restrictions.
….. All relay and cross country team members must wear uniforms clearly indicating, through predominant color, school logo and color combination of all outer garments worn as a uniform, that members are from the same team. NOTE: The official should be able to observe that all members are from the same team.
