Meet Schedule Update: Broughton is now 9/10 (not 9/11) and Cardinal Gibbons is now 9/17 (not 9/18)

Weather this Week. Huge improvement!!! We are looking at great practice conditions. We have a slight chance for light rain Friday night, and they will race either way.

Athlete To-Do’s:
(1) Vertical Raise will have their LRHS rep at practice. Look for email/info on that.
(2) Work on Goal Cards, you should have clearer ideas now.
(3) Update any changes to Race Availability –> Link

LRHS XC Weekly Schedule:

  • Monday (9/2): Run On Your Own
    • Captains or teammates may offer ideas for getting together.
    • Monitor Groupme if interested.
  • Tuesday (9/3): LRHS Track 2:45pm-5:00pm
    • Workout for all Athletes.
    • Bring a Towel for Core, Water Bottle.
    • Monitor Groupme for details on possible lifting/gym.
  • Wednesday (9/4): LRHS Track 2:45pm-5:00pm
    • Vertical Raise rep will meet with us at start of practice.
    • Recovery Run day.
    • Bring a Towel for Core, Water Bottle.
  • Thursday (9/5) LRHS Track 3:00pm-5:00pm
    • Easy Run Day, Race Prep.
    • Bring a Towel for Core, Water Bottle.
  • Friday (9/6) Meet Day — Friday Night Lights

    • If an athletes wants early release –> send me 4th period teacher name and email address.
    • Monitor forecast. Bring dry clothes, possible rain jacket, etc.
  • Saturday (9/7) Umstead Run — TBD, looking at 10am to allow sleep from FNL
    • Main Entrance off 70, follow main road to end, last parking lot.
    • Hydrate.
